It is and always has been our intention to provide you with the most up to date information about your sponsored child. Information is usually collected and shared through our valued volunteers who travel to Lola Children's Home in Mekelle, Ethiopia twice a year. As a result of the ongoing COVID pandemic, we have not had a team travel since late 2019. The ongoing conflict in Tigray, which has disrupted lines of communication and rendered travel to the region unsafe, along with a reluctance of regional team members to share detailed information through non-secure channels, has further complicated our ability to provide sponsorship reports. We hope you understand that if you participate in a new or existing sponsorship at this time, we can not predict when we will be able to provide an update specific to your child. Your support is needed more than ever, and a recurring donation is an incredible gift.
